About me

Bianka Uhrínová

UI/UX designer, working from Bratislava across the EU.

I'm a UI/UX designer, two years in. I started by building things, breaking them, and rebuilding them when they didn't work¹. That's still how I work.

I spent some time at a small design company, then at a real-estate company on a big platform project. After that I slowed down for a year. Smaller projects, more learning, more time to actually get better².

A couple of things stuck with me. I'll always push back on bad legibility, the worse version ships when nobody says anything. And AI is a tool, not a personality. I prompt every day, but the calls are still mine³.

I'm based in Bratislava and work remotely across the EU. Open to full-time roles at small product teams, and freelance when the project's interesting.

01

Understand

Read the brief, ask questions, get clear on what we're actually solving. No Figma yet.

02

Explore

Look at references, similar products, rough ideas. AI helps me try more options faster.

03

Structure

Map the screens and how someone moves through them. What goes where, and why.

04

Design

Proper screens in Figma. Components, states, edge cases.

05

Ship

Build it in Webflow myself, or hand off Figma with proper notes.
